Alumni Careers Day
The purpose of the day was to invite back some ex-students to allow our pupils to see what is possible if you apply yourself and work hard. At Dairy Meadow we all believe that race, location or background should not stop you from achieving your dreams. By meeting people who have walked the same corridors, sat in the same chairs and been taught by some of the same adults, we hope to have made this a reality for our young people.
Our guests (and their key take home message were):
Harsimran Sall - Dentist - "Don't take anything for granted, work hard now"
Taj Bhambra - Sales manager at Gartner - "If you say 'I can't'... you've already lost. Who told you that? Ask yourself instead, how can I do that."
Sandeep Mall - PT and Manager of Gym Group Southall - "Be kind. Be the person who talks to others and be kind first."
Jeevan Lall - GP - "Don't limit yourself. Keep your mind open and work hard with every opportunity."
