Architecture Club - The Finale!

Over the last 10 weeks, 15 of our intrepid Year 6's have channelled their inner John Soames and Zaha Hadid to get a further understanding into the world of architecture.

Guided by the amazing Tatiana and Lizzi from Pitzhanger Manor, the children have looked at a range of architectural styles and why they were in fashion at the time. Using a range of modelling techniques and materials, children were able to draw designs and develop prototypes of their own manor house!

We had a celebration on Thursday 15th May 2025 (crazy after SATS, I know) where parents were invited and were encouraged to finish off the designs with their children. Our MP, Deidra Costigan, also came and marvelled at how confident our children were and their ability to use technical vocabulary.

We look forward to showing off the designs in the school office.
