Biodiversity in the Dairy Meadow
On Thursday 2nd December 2021, our years 1,2 and 3 children were fortunate enough to have a talk from Natasha Gavin, the parks education officer for Ealing. The purpose of the talk were for our young botanists and zoologists to appreciate the wonderful array of different wildlife that are present within the borough.
Ealing is very fortunate to be bordered on three sides by canals (including Southall's very own Grand Union) as a result it is a perfect wildlife corridor. Our children saw examples of newts, eels, badgers, foxes and even owls all in our local area!
Natasha also shared some invaluable information about how you can promote biodiversity in your own back garden or any communal green space.
