Brunel University Visit Year 6

On the morning of Wednesday 19th June 2024, Year 6 were lucky enough to welcome Emily Healy to the school. Emily is part of the wider engagement team at Brunel University and came to speak about university life.

Our children were really engaged and learned about what a degree is and how it leads into a graduation. They discussed some of the reasons to go to university and other options if higher education isn't right for them. There was a lively chat about the different funding options, touching on bursaries and scholarships.

Considering our wonderful Year 6's will soon transition to secondary school, its important that they start to think about the choices now that could impact them in the future. We thank Emily for spending the morning with us to make these options come alive.
