Can You Smell, What Year 6, Are Cooking?

There have been some very strange smell coming out of Oak and Elm Class this week! (in a really good way!). As part of their DT topic Food For Life, our young chefs have been designing their own menu that shuns the preservatives that litter most fast foods.

Miss Nessa, Miss Spilsted and Mrs V have done their best to uncover the next Gordon Ramsay's by aiding Year 6 in creating a three course menu of their own design. Starters of crudites with home made hummous were followed by vegetarian bean tacos and ended with fruit kebabs. 

Being greedy, I was a regular visitor into Year 6 whilst the cooking was going on and was amazed by the knife skills and food technology skills that were on display.
