Cats Protection League visit.

On Monday 4th November 2024 the whole school had a visit from Jonathan, Jenny and Jerry from the Cats Protection League. Our furry friends give us so much love and joy so it's important we know how to look after them.

Our wonderful volunteers worked with the children to: understand animal behaviour, discuss how to show respect for all living things and the responsibilities of pet ownership.

It was a fantastic day and the children were really able to see how the visit ties in with both our Science and PSHE curriculum.

Below is a lovely note from Jonathan!

Thank you so much – to you and the whole team at Dairy Meadow - for the warm welcome you gave Jenny, Jerry and myself yesterday. I have to say, quite honestly, that your school was among one of the friendliest and most welcoming schools I’ve been to – and I go to a fair few!
