Could Years 4 and 5 break the code?

We know that our Years 4 and 5 love being at Dairy Meadow, but what if we said they weren't allowed to leave until they had completed a series of fiendishly difficult maths challenges?! This was the reality on Monday 5th December 2022, as we had our first ever Dairy Meadow Escape Room Challenge! (In case parents are worried, we didn't lock the children in and they were free to go out to play and use the bathroom!).

Our teams of intrepid codebreakers had to use all their mathematical knowledge and Skills Builder targets of: Teamwork, Problem Solving, Listening and Aiming High to work out clues that lead to the finding of keys. Once the problem was solved, children were able to move on to the next cunning conundrum. 

Special mention must go to Willow Class who managed to escape our loony labyrinth in 48 mins and 53 seconds! A massive thank you to Mrs Surai for organising.
