Ealing Book Festival Success!

Sunday 14th April 2024 was a monumental day for some of our young poets here at Dairy Meadow. They took part in a competition organised by Miss Spilsted to write a poem based around the theme of 'Where I live...'. Now, this was no normal competition, the children's efforts were entered into the Ealing Book Festival and I'm pleased to say we had 4 commendations!

So a massive 'Well Done' to the following Year 6 children: Safaa, Ravneet, Zahara and Amal. They were all present at Pitshanger Manor for the prizegiving ceremony. They received their prizes from the mayor of Ealing and will have their work on display inside the manor. Heartfelt thanks to Savills and Pitshanger Bookshop for sponsoring the event and giving our children such a phenomenal opportunity. Myself and Mrs Reed were so proud.
