Fabulous Fashion in Reception
Get your cameras and flashbulbs at the ready! Reception are putting on a fashion show as part of their Skills Builder project. Obviously to do this first, they have to meet some inspirational individuals from the world of fashion.
On Wednesday 10th July 2024, Reception had the pleasure of inviting Jihan Hersi, a student of the fashion world to showcase her fabulous designs and discuss her experiences for their Skills Builder unit, "Fabulous Fashion". Our young designers and models were intrigued as Jihan explained how she used inspiration from the world around her to produce drawings and finally create garments which were once in her imagination!
A huge thank you to Jihan for coming in, the children loved modelling in her garments that she had made and are ready for their very own fashion show, taking place on Wednesday 17th July at 2.30 in the Reception playground. We look forward to welcoming you all there!
