Featherstone Visit Year 6

It's always a pleasure to welcome our good friend, Assistant Head of Featherstone High School, Mr Sangha to Dairy Meadow.

I know it only seems a matter of weeks that we've said 'Hello' to our wonderful Year 6's but we've already started thinking about saying 'Goodbye'. Transition to high school is a vital part of the Year 6 experience and Mr Sangha came in to speak about all the opportunities available to children at Featherstone High as well as to allay any fears and questions the children might have.

The Year 6 teams will be running some information workshops about how to apply for high school, details will be sent out shortly. In the meantime please have a look at the websites of local schools and think about attending some open days with your children - click here for more information.
