Library Trips

March 2023 has seen every single class at Dairy Meadow visit the Dominion Library in Southall. In a world of: Nintendo Switches, Fortnite and Tik Tok, it's easy to forget just how amazing the local library can be. Our inspirational Reading leader, Miss Spilsted, has forged some vital relationships with the head librarian Surekha that has allowed all of our children to take home books, research their History and Geography topics as well as visit the Martinware pottery.

If you're unaware of where your local library is, it can be found at: The Dominion Centre, 112 The Green, Southall UB2 4BQ. It opens at 10am every day, except Sunday when it's open from 1-4pm.

I was so happy when Abhijot and Sean from my English group told me they had gone to reserve the third Malamander novel by Thomas Taylor!

Here's some insanely cute photos of Nursery looking at some books and exploring the reading hobbit holes.
