Library Visits

Southall Library, at the Dominion Centre is a treasure trove of exciting things. Not only can you explore the Martinware pottery collection, read books in lots of languages and take part in loads of fun activities - you also get to meet the amazing Sureika!

At Dairy Meadow we have been proud of the bond we have built up with Sureika and her team. Each term Sureikha collates books for our History, Geography and Science topics and allows our children to conduct some independent research. I was lucky enough to go with Year 5 this week and learned lots that I didn't know about daily life in Ancient Greece!

We also signed a pledge on how to reduce our carbon footprint. You can see this on display in the library, apparently I have to eat less meat...

A big THANK YOU to Sureikha, her team and of course Mrs Spilsted for organising.
