Lucy from FictFact Books visits Year 1.

We had a wonderfully special guest visit Year 1 on Tuesday 3rd February 2026. Lucy Lock from FictFact books came to visit to tell us all about her unique book 'Flingo'.

Flingo is half all action fiction about a flamingo with a wonderful range of footwear. If you flip the book over, you are able to learn all manner of amazing facts about these phenomenal birds. I didn't know that they can dance!

A big THANK YOU to Lucy for coming in to visit and helping our young authors in Year 1 with their non-chronological reports. I know each member of the year group will treasure their book.
