National Fitness Day

Last week trainers were tied up, water bottles filled and sweatbands placed around wrists...

I heard the cries of "Ready…steady…and get fit!!!" all the way from my office! Well done to all the children at Dairy Meadow who successfully celebrated National Fitness Day last Wednesday morning. A massive shout-out to Let’s Leap who set up a rigorous gym circuit for our children to navigate. Children had an opportunity to work out core muscle groups, improve their stamina and balance as they made their way around the circuit.

Malyar from Buttercup class stated: “I can feel Mohamed’s heart beating really fast…we want to go again!’'

It was great to see the camaraderie, teamwork, and encouragement the children displayed!

As the great Muhammed Ali once said: ‘If my mind can conceive it, if my heart can believe it, then I can achieve it.’
