Nursery Meet the Police

It was an exciting day in the Nursery on Wednesday 20th October as PC's Bal and Terri came to visit. It tied in with their topic 'Superheroes' (learning about 'real life' superheroes) and built on a previous visit from Spiderman!

Our law enforcement friends showed children what they wear (handcuffs, uniform, hat, baton, notepad, pen) and talked about what they do. They also taught our everyday heroes the number to dial in an emergency. One of the most exciting parts of the visit was when all the children took turns to try on the police helmet!

Fortunately there were no arrests and great learning was completed by all.
