Our Creative Festival

What a morning it was on Monday 24th June 2024 - Taylor Swift may have been the hottest ticket in London but believe me - all the glamour was at the Dairy Meadow Artists in Residence Creative Festival!!!

As you all know, Y3 have been working with the insanely talented animator Sophie Burrows to produce a stop gap animation entitled Super Southall. The children have shown off all their creativity and teamwork to produce something that not only reflects the local community but gives them a new skill they can take into adult life.

Our red carpet premier was the perfect event to show off the movie. You can view it by clicking here. I know our young animators were enthused with everything they experienced - one child asked me "We've done Southall, can we do Hayes next?"

We obviously couldn't have completed such an amazing task without some help from our friends. Rosemary and Fliss at Eastside who put the Artists in Residence programme together were amazing, as was our creative champion Miss Geddes. A big 'Thank You' also to Miss Ali and Mrs Royle for letting the creativity flow in Ash and Pine.
