Parents Computing Workshop

Last week (8th November 2021) saw our computing lead, Mrs Sahota, run a series of workshops for parents highlighting all the amazing online platforms that children have access to at Dairy Meadow (a list can be found here). 

Parents were invited to login and see the online world through their child's eyes. They were introduced to Microsoft Teams, practiced their times tables with TT Rockstars and even tested their comprehension skills with Bug Club. 

Mrs Sahota reaffirmed how important it is for parents to take an active interest into what their children are doing online. Part of our commitment to online safety is to make all of the Dairy Meadow family aware of the dangers that could be lurking on the internet and how we can ensure we are treating everybody in cyberspace with respect.
