Park and Stride Preparation

In our quest to make Dairy Meadow a more greener school, Mrs Sahota has been working incredibly hard on an initiative to improve the air quality around our area.

On Friday 19th January, our School Council and Eco Committee joined forces to persuade our school community to become heathier and safer! Members of both groups, showed a united front to persuade parents, who drive to school to join us for our very first ‘Park and Stride with your teddies' event, which will be taking place in the morning on Friday 26th January. Children used their oracy skills to encourage parents to park their cars in  Dairy Meadow’s ‘Park and Stride’ area. During the event, the  enthusiasm of our children created some friendly competition between the two groups, to see who could speak to the most parents! After the event, parents commended the children on the use of their communication skills, the recall of key information and use of persuasive language.
