Park and Stride Success!

Please see below for a report from Mrs Sahota about our phenomenal Park and Stride events that happened on Friday 26th January 2024 in conjunction with Havelock Primary School.

'Wow! What a morning! A massive congratulations to the Dairy Meadow and Havelock Primary School communities for taking part in our very first ‘Park and Stride’ event. Thank you to all the parents, who parked their vehicles in the Park and Stride area allocated to our schools by Ealing Council. It was humbling to see how enthusiastic both parents and children were about keeping families safe and healthy. It was an awesome feeling walking to school with parents, children, and their furry friends… ‘The Teddies!’ A special shout out to all the staff volunteers from both schools, who took time out of their busy morning schedules to meet and greet parents and children.

Malyar from Year 2 Buttercup stated:

‘I loved walking and dancing to school with my favourite new friend ‘Daisy the Teddy.’

I am excited to announce we will be organising further themed Park and Stride events. In the meantime, we would like for both school communities to keep using the Park and Stride area daily, and we hope to see you all at the next event!
