Reading Ambassadors meet Konnie Huq.

On Thursday 24th April 2025, our librarians and Reading Ambassadors had the exciting opportunity to meet Konnie Huq at the University of West London.

Konnie, a well-known British author and TV presenter of Bangladeshi heritage, spoke to us about her journey and what inspired her to start writing. She shared stories from her books and gave us brilliant advice about being creative and believing in ourselves. We now have some signed copies of her 'Cookie' books in our school library!

It was a truly inspirational experience, and we left feeling motivated to read more and maybe even write our own stories one day!
