Skills Builder Challenge Day - Crash Landing

There was an eerie vibe travelling around Dairy Meadow on Friday 6th September 2024. Our young engineers and astrophysicists had to use all their Skills Builder knowledge to investigate a crashed spaceship! Fortunately our wonderfully kind children didn't feel the need to send Mr Feldman back to his home planet!

Skills Builder Challenge Day was a huge success! Over the course of the challenge, children applied the essential skills as they consider: ‘How can we welcome and include others?’  The children applied Problem Solving and Creativity skills to explore an alien crash site on the school grounds and imagine what the aliens would look like. Then, they applied Leadership and Teamwork to welcome the aliens and tell them about our world before saying goodbye to the aliens at the end of the day. 

Dairy Meadow had a fantastic day, looking at differences between each other and understanding how to respect those differences and celebrate them too.
