Skills Builder - Doing Good

This week, Year 1 have been taking part in their Skills Builder project where they have been focusing on, 'Doing Good'. 

For this project children have been focusing on 3 essential skills- teamwork, problem solving and listening. 

In these pictures you will see the children using their listening skills to create an origami fox and showing excellent skills of problem solving and teamwork to create a mascot for their 'Big Toddle' on Friday! As part of our project, children will be raising money for a local charity, 'Hope for Southall Street Homeless' by walking 10 laps around the Key Stage 1 and the Key Stage 2 playground dressed in animal costumes! 

The children are so excited about our fundraiser and the awesome cause we are raising money for too, so please, sponsor our children and let's raise as much money as we can!
