Street Elite Sports at TGQ

At Dairy Meadow we love to give our children new experiences as often as possible. What better way to find the new Tyson Fury's and Marlie Packer's of this world that giving our young athletes the chance to try out new sports?

On a blisteringly hot Thursday 20th June 2024, Year 4 were invited to the Street Elite sports festival at The Green Quarter, Southall. The event was held by Berkeley Homes and the Berkeley Foundation - we are always thankful to Mr Jags Sangera for making sure we get an invite (and for the ice cream!).

So what did our young people do?! They got a sneak peak at a range of sports that they wouldn't normally get to try. We had: zorbing, rugby, football coaching from Southall FC, dodgeball, NHL flag, street dance, yoga, golf, boxing, zorbing and padel. As well as this we got to make our own smoothies by using exercise bikes!
