World of Work - Y6 Visit Holland House

It's going to happen to all of our wonderful little people here at Dairy Meadow. The remorseless march of time will catch up with them and they'll have to enter the big wide world to get paid employment.

With this in mind, we took all of Year 6 (Elm went on Tuesday 9th July and Oak on Friday 12th July) for a world of work day at Holland House, a listed building by the Gherkin in Liverpool Street.

Sharon Wright is one of Dairy Meadow's best friends and she put on a wonderful day that involved meeting an architect (Tim) and a town planner (Eloise). After finding out more about the City of London (it's only 1.22 square miles!) and some opportunities of future employment, our future developers/stockbrokers/etc wrote their own CV and took part in some mock interviews! I know they all got the job!!!
