Year 1 Gruffalo Workshop

On Monday 28th November 2022, Year 1 were visited by the amazing West End in Schools and were given the opportunity to experience the re-telling of one of their favourite stories -'The Gruffalo'!

Through drama, children explored characters from the story and mimicked them using their bodies and facial expressions.  The children loved gnashing their terrible jaws and stomping around the classroom just like the Gruffalo.

We ask all parents to please check the faces of their children in Year 1 to make sure there are no poisonous warts on the end of their noses after such a fantastic experience! (this is a Gruffalo joke by the way and NOT to be taken seriously).

Thank you to Mrs Uppal and Miss Attia for organising.
