Year 3 Science Show

Do you know how many stars are in our solar system? Would you even know where to start if you wanted to find out the answer? Lucky our junior astronomers do!

On Monday 4th March 2024, Year 3 were invited to a Science show at the Southall Dominion Centre. We all took off our shoes and crawled inside an inflatable dome. It was very dark inside but we saw amazing images of and heard facts about the sun, moon and all the planets. We talked about what it would be like to live on each planet. We then gazed at the fascinating stars, learnt the names of different stars such Orion and Lepus and heard some interesting stories about them. Year 3 had a lot of fun and definitely learnt some new, amazing facts about our Solar System.
