Year 4 Visit the Green Quarter

Wednesday 11th September 2024 saw our Year 4 zoologists and conservationists attend a nature afternoon at the Green Quarter in Southall.

We met representatives from the Wildlife Trust as well as: horticulturalists, falconers and garden designers, giving our children a vital insight in what jobs in nature are on offer despite being in the middle of Southall!

Our children enjoyed planting bulbs, exploring the bark of various trees, hunting for minibeast habitats and of course meeting Heidi the falcon!

We owe a huge 'thank you' to Mr Sanghera from Berkeley Homes for making us feel so welcome and organising the day.
