Year 5 Visit the BFI

Thursday the 3rd July 2025 was a BAA-rilliant day for Year 5 as they visited the British Film Institute to watch Shaun the Sheep and meet one of the animators who worked on the film!

Lucy Izzard, one of the chief animators at Aardman, was blown away by the questions from our young cinematographers - How do you feel about the growing significance of Shaun the Sheep?

A great day was had by all, not only were our children entranced with the moo-vie, but they received Shaun the Sheep headbands to wear. They also made the most of the day by having a picnic on the South Bank and seeing the London Eye.

A big thank you to everyone who made the trip happen - especially Mrs G, Miss Kapoor and Miss Hassan.
