Year 5 trip to the British Museum

On Wednesday 13th July 2022, Year 5 went to the British Museum to supplement their knowledge of their history topic, Groundbreaking Greeks.

We managed to go on a voyage all the way through History, encountering artefacts from: Ancient Egypt, Assyrian Empire, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. We saw some remarkable examples of pottery, masonry and handicrafts - all of which were over 2500 years old!

Mr Feldman was incredibly impressed when his group visited the Asia area and could tell him all about the Hindu Gods!

As massive thank you to all the parent helpers and wonderful staff that made the trip happen, a special big Dairy Meadow cheer for Mrs Uppal and Mr McInnes for organising so wonderfully.
