On Tuesday 22nd November 2022, Willow Class visited Greenford High School yesterday as part of our DT outreach programme with local secondary schools. 

The aim of the session was to connect the learning in our DT curriculum here at Dairy Meadow with what the children may choose to experience in Year 7 (and hopefully beyond). Here at Dairy Meadow we are passionate in turning our children into lifelong learners so by showing our young designers and manufacturers the next step on their journey.

Our junior technicians had a look at all the different branches of DT and the equipment that is used with the subject and potential future careers - product design, graphic design, product engineering, etc. As well as this, they also got to speak to some of the Year 13s about what DT meant to them and why they chose DT to study as part of their GCSE and A Level choices.
