Year 6 - Pitzhanger Manor Visit

Last week, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit to Pitzhanger Manor, one of Ealing’s most important historic buildings.

During the trip, children explored the beautifully restored manor house, learned about its connection to architect Sir John Soane, and discovered how the building has changed over time. Through hands-on activities and guided workshops, pupils examined original architectural features, sketched elements of the house, and deepened their understanding of local history.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to engage with Ealing’s heritage, ask thoughtful questions, and make meaningful links to their learning back in school. They returned full of enthusiasm and curiosity about the past!
