Young Writers Competition Winners

I know they say, "It's not the winning that counts, but the taking part" but I absolutely love it when our children's talents are recognised! 

As part of the ‘Young Writers’ competition children in year 2 went on a poetry adventure this term... from the jungle to the Artic to the local area or zoo... with Poetry Safari the children created their own poems about animals or creatures they liked.  Well done to the winners from Buttercup and Marigold who will have their poems published in ‘Poetry Safari’. What better way to boost confidence and create a buzz around poetry at Dairy Meadow?
